This is a mobile home park with available RV sites. They accept daily and weekly but most are long term monthly's at $285/month including electric. Office is open Mon-Fri only. All roads are paved, each lot has a concrete pad and fenced yard. All monthlies must maintain their own yard. We will be here for two months and will return again.
This is a nice, city-owned campground on the Oconto River. There is noise from a nearby train track and the highway that passes through town. Lot of shade trees. There are a few seasonal sites available on a waiting list. Weekend campers are mostly families. Things to watch out for. We have been full-timing for 6 years and this is the only campground we have stayed in where someone has tried to cut the hose to our grill in order to take our propane tank: twice in 2 months! We will think hard before camping here again.
The only thing this RV park has going for itself is the indoor pool and hot tub. Other than that it's a dump for the price, especially where they want to put those who are staying by the month.
This is a small, tight rv park. Not big enough for large rigs. The road going in is full of pot holes but the interior roads are good and paved. There are no children under 16 allowed. The lots have grass and shade. Right next to Denny's. The WiFi is very poor. Weekly rates are $115 including electric and monthly is $350 including electric. The residents are mostly working full timers. I will stay here again.
This park is only open during the winter months because of the high heat in the summer months. Staying during the summer months is permissible though on the honor system. The 18 hole golf course was closed this winter due to flooding in September. All spaces are 70x40 pull-thru and full 20/30/50 hookups. The cable TV system consist of only 4 channels during the winter months but it's better than nothing. The cable TV system does not work on all sites. The laundry consist of 2 washers and 3 dryers on the honor system. There is a fee based Wi-Fi signal here from the city. The interior roads are dirt and dusty. There are no shade trees. It may not look it but it is very safe here and I will return again.
We have been staying in this park, as we travel through Midland, since 1997. This is definitely not an RV Resort, but a place to stop for the night or a few days. The old part of the campground has shade trees, but the spaces are small and mostly filled by long termers. The newer spaces are wider but no trees or grass. They have their own 37 channel cable TV system and a good Wi-Fi signal throughout the campground. They have daily, weekly and monthly rates with a daily rate of $25 (less 15% Escapee). The city road is gravel and not well maintained. The interior roads are also gravel but well maintained. It can be very dusty here. We will definitely come back.
Pretty, little campground on the Arkansas River. 20/30 Amps at the sites. Dump station and water available. Busy railway along side of campground with trains a couple times an hour all day/night.
This RV Park is owned by the VFW post and is open to all VFW members, active duty; and reserve and retired military. This park is very clean and located across the street from Dyess Air Force Base Main Gate. Check-in is through the canteen. I would definitely stay here again.
This is a nice campground along the busy highway going through Oconto. Lots of trees. Very few spaces have a view for satellite TV or Internet. There are several seasonal sites with a waiting list. Good fishing on the Oconto River that runs along the campground. We stayed here for 1 month and 1 week in a motorhome
